There is an alarming situation that needs to be addressed in New York
people actually know how many fires happen on a day to day basis? If
they do not work for an agency that responds to fire, NOT MANY.
Every year more than 2100 residential fires ravage the city. A small one
alarm fire to the massive five alarm fire is what to be expected
throughout the city. The F.D.N.Y, the Red Cross and SILVER LINING
OUTREACH are the few organizations that focus on fire related
emergencies. Fire has no preference of who and where it will strike.
Our service have no ethnic, social, racial or religious determinations.
FIRE determines our services. If you are affected by fire and we
respond, our services are yours.
For Every DARK CLOUD, There Is A SILVER LINING
SILVER LINING OUTREACH urges families to pay more attention to
details during the coming winter months. FIRE does not take a summer
vacation or a winter break. We do not either. When you see our
representatives on the trains, our Mobile Donation Stations or you hear
about our upcoming events, PLEASE be encouraged to participate and
contribute to the AID FOR FAMILIES DISPLACED BY FIRE project.
